One question we get asked is how can Google grow my business. Or for that matter any search engine. Then we tell them the story of "How Google grew my Business." And if come downs to a simple principle of "if you are not searchable, you can't and won't be found". With the growth of internet availability nearly everything starts and leads from Google.
So this how Google grew my business, you need to remember that Google does and can define what your online presence is. And how to they do this? Well most traffic generated online comes from people asking Google a question. From where is a good hotel in New York to what should I call my new baby girl? People are turning to Google for the answer to their question. And that is the simple part to how Google grew my business.
Google grew my business because we think of what people are going to ask Google today. We think of our website as the answer to that question people are going to ask Google. We look at every web page to ensure that it is simple and clearly laid out so that Google and you the people asking the question can find the answer on our website.
So how Google grew my business was because I asked people and the search engines what are the questions people are asking that relate to me and my company. My advice is to ask your current clients what did they ask Google to find you.
