Los Flamingos an example of Inbound MarketingHow is Los Flamingos an example of Inbound Marketing? Every year I go to Spain to a somewhere just south of Marbella called Los Flamingos with my family. I spent time researching places along the Spanish coast for somewhere suitable and that would suit my needs, my wife's and my daughter. Yes, Inbound Marketing is about people finding you it is also about them returning time again and time again. While I do return to Los Flamingos each year there more to than which makes Los Flamingos a good example of inbound marketing.

So why do I see Los Flamingos as an example of Inbound Marketing. I see inbound marketing as bring your visitors to your website and wrapping valuable content around your website through blogs etc. This is similar to what Los Flamingos has done in Spain. In the centre of Los Flamingos is a Ritz Carlton five star hotel, this has become the hub of Los Flamingos with everything wrapped around that. And that is why I see Los Flamingos as an example of Inbound Marketing.

Try to think of Los Flamingos as your website for Inbound Marketing. I view the bedrooms as the core website and all of the other functions as reasons for people to return to your site time and time again. For Los Flamingos other functions are golf courses, gym, spa, restaurants, children's camp etc. Try to view those functions as your blogs, your video clips or maybe your whitepapers and this is how and why Los Flamingos can be viewed as an example of inbound marketing.

A great example of how Los Flamingos is an example of Inbound Marketing in action is their golf courses. Los Flamingos has 3 golf courses, each one is different and can suit players of different skills and handicaps. Since Los Flamingos has different golf courses they can not only appeal to a wider audience but can ensure that they think about who they are targeting and talking to. Try to do the same with your blogs, videos and website think about your visitor and the language that they use. In the same way that Los Flamingos uses the different golf courses, they are set up separately to suit a different golfer. And this is one ways how Los Flamingos is an example of Inbound Marketing.

So view your website like Los Flamingos, define what is your core is, what can be specific to your readers and why will your visitors come back again and again.
