By now we are should be aware of social media and inbound marketing but how is it going mobile. For the first time the data traffic has exceeded the volume of voice calls across the world's wireless networks. The knock on of this is that the mobile phone operators are struggling to meet the growing demand for internet services. It appears that social media and inbound marketing is really going mobile.
When did social media and inbound marketing go mobile? In December of last year the amount of data such as videos, emails and content handled by mobile carriers surpassed that of voice traffic. To put some numbers on this the 400m mobile broadband subscriptions are now generating more traffic from the total 4.6 billion mobile subscriptions around the world. The result of this is that people are now more accessible online than previously and they are using their broadband service. It appears that now it is more important to use social media and inbound marketing to your advantage as people are now going online more and for . So if you are not engaging in social media and inbound marketing then chances are you will not be found by your potential clients online.
We now know that social media and inbound marketing is going online but what is the future of social media and inbound marketing online. According to Ericsson global traffic nearly tripled in each of the past two years and forecast that double annually over the next five years. Ericsson actually highlighted social networking websites, such as Facebook, and one of the biggest sources of mobile data. So there you go social media and inbound marketing is going mobile and growing every year going forward.
