As 2010 is about to end it is expected that consumer trends will change in 2011 trends can be everything from 'Ageing populations in Central-Europe' to 'Spring 2012's skirt lengths. Following trends are anticipated in 2011
Consumer will expect that organizations will monitor the public mood of consumers and they will devise their strategies in accordance with them and perform any act of kindness to delight them. Marketing will not be the same.Organizations will have more challenging, experienced and demanding consumers since there is rapid global urbanization which has made consumers more informed.Prices of product will be set on the basis of GPS driven deals, group purchasing and flash sales.It is anticipated that the number of foreign brands to launch a new product or even a new brand to consumers in emerging markets will increase in 2011.
In 2011 organizations will have to take care that they will not be able to go wrong in providing their customers with any type of symbol whether it’s virtual or real that assist them in displaying to peers.The increasing number of consumers will expect health and nutritional products and services in order to prevent depression instead of curing the disease and illness.Consumers will become more wardens and they will play a vital role in broadcasting, compiling, suggesting contents, products and services to all their friends and relatives.People will donate more and will sympathize and care about the poor instead of just sell and take. Eco-friendly products will face boom in 2011 that are superior to polluting incumbents in each possible way.People will share tips with other regarding their experience with one product or services which can have a strong effect on brands.
