Blogging can raise questions
To blog or not to blog? That is not the question. The question then, is do you blog correctly? Blogging is a great way to pass the time, sometimes too much time, nothing else gets done! But in the process of nothing getting done one could be learning something very informative. One of those things could be about blogging correctly. We won’t have any English lessons here, but it is imperative you do a spell and grammar check before you publish your blog. It takes a couple of minutes and makes it worth it.
Blogging is about an interesting story
To make a story interesting it should read properly. Sometimes what may seem readable and make sense to you does not make sense to others, and so blogging needs to make sense. Think outside the box. Jump into other peoples’ minds and think about what they would find interesting in your blog, then give emphasis to that. Of course, it’s always more beneficial to everyone if you know what you are talking about. Just because you have a feeling and opinion about something, does not mean everyone else feels the same. So with this in mind, when blogging, blog to attract others to your site and remember they have their own opinions just like you do.
Blogging should be clear
Blogging must be interesting and to hold your audience, should never be boring. Don’t get too wordy, it gets confusing. Speak (or write) clear language. Always read your project aloud. And, if you are going to have ads on your blog make sure they are relevant to what your blog is about.
Blogging keep them coming back
Business blogging is certainly about attracting others to your site, but the same rules should apply to personal blogs; catchy titles, intriguing first lines, pulling you into the rest of the story – and keeping you there and wanting more at the end. That is good blogging.
