Why your Online Marketing Leads Will Self-Destruct In 60 Minutes

This Online Marketing Lead Will Self Destruct In 60 MinutesYou have invested money on your website and online marketing activities- but is it all for nothing?  According to the latest research from Harvard Business Review, most companies are not responding quickly enough to online enquiries and leads.  Companies are spending and investing more in online business development than ever - the growth of investment from 2005 to 2009 was over $10 Billion and it is still growing.

But could that investment be a waste of your time and money?  According to the research of over 2,000 companies in the US the average response time to leads 42 days.  37% of companies will respond within 60 minutes, which is good, but a staggering 23% of companies will never respond at all.

The research went on to say that companies that tried to contact a lead within 60 minutes were nearly seven times as likely to qualify the lead as those that tried to contact the leads even over an hour later.  And, they were more than 60 times as likely to convert that lead as other companies that waited 24 hours or more.  If you are a company that is making a big investment in order to compete online and generate leads then it is obvious that you should be responding faster...

How do you improve your response time?  Have you looked at HubSpot yet?  HubSpot tracks detailed information about every visitor to your site -- information that turns into valuable intelligence when visitors convert to leads.

For each potential lead, HubSpot tracks the source of the lead, number of visits and specific details about visitor page views. When an individual fills out a form on your website, all of this intelligence is captured in the HubSpot leads tool.  Additionally, HubSpot captures relevant social media profiles and automatically populates Twitter handles, LinkedIn profiles and even images into the lead intelligence tool so that sales people can build more personalized relationships with less effort and research.  And to top it all off, it sends you a nice email with all the details you need...

So before you take on the task of generating more leads, you should look at what you are doing with the ones you already have!
