Social media marketing may mean different things to different people. Some businesses may just want to use social media for improving brand awareness, or keeping an ear to the ground around their industry. But social media is so powerful; it is entirely possible to generate high quality leads from it. Here are some ways:
Blog subscriptions pay dividends
A ) If you’ve been using Twitter or Facebook to drive traffic to your blogs, offer a blog subscription. This allows you to keep your followers up with the latest content, and you can use emails to back these up in your lead generation campaign. This really gives you the link you need to continue marketing to your followers.
B) Avoiding welcome pop-ups? It’s a shame, because these are often a great driver to building email subscribers. There are effective ways to manage pop ups so that they don’t become an annoyance to your site visitors. Manage it well, and it will give dividends to your marketing base. A call to action needs to be effective
C) Design your calls to action well. Your blogs should always include a great call to action, to make them work their hardest for you. Keep the call to action relevant to your blog post and social media post. You can read more about call to actions by reading our recent blog post here. You can also use your available white space to add in other calls to action. But don’t confuse the reader with too many options.
D) Users who come from Twitter and Facebook tend not to be ready to buy or try your demo yet, let alone speak to a sales rep. They have clicked through to your site because they are curious. So offer them something that helps them learn more about your products and what benefits they bring.
When directing your Twitter and Facebook users to a landing page, keep it simple and specially optimized.
