Studies have found that the second most popular kind of blog is the lifestyle blog, followed by tech blogs and blogs by women. The growing number of blog readers tend to be from “wealthier households, are younger and connected to the web on high speed connections”. Blog readers will also visit twice as many web pages as the Internet average, and are far more likely to shop online. So what is the significance of this kind of readership?
A business blog is the best way to highlight a successful business and their offerings to prospective customers, clients and employees. Additionally, if you offer products or services directly through your website, you may attract paying online customers through your blog.
