Are You Building Killer Landing Pages?

We like to create landing page campaigns that succeed here in SiliconCloud. But believe it or not, every landing page is different: there is no magic formula. That’s why we need to experiment with all the elements of your landing page to figure out what the specific recipe for success on your landing page will be. Read on to learn about some methods we use to make your landing pages more successful.
Registration Forms: Experiment with them!
The common knowledge is that for every field on your registration form, you lose 30% of your respondents. So, what can you do here? There are a number of options. You could a) get an email address on it’s own from the form, or b) get a number of fields of data in order to pre-qualify these leads more efficiently.
The quick rule is to ask for the bare minimum amount of data that you need to continue with your business. So if someone is downloading your white paper on business intelligence, you already know they are interested in your product. Ask for the name, email address, company and contact number.
Create a number of different landing pages with unique forms to figure out which form works best. You should have a good idea within a couple of days what your target market is most likely to respond to.
Test Lots Of Landing Pages
Well yes, this seems obvious. But have you really gone to the trouble of copying out your landing pages and making individual tweaks? You need to test lots of different variables on each page. So try different subject headers, varying amounts of form fields, graphic placement, length of copy, use of headers and word placement. Above all, it’s a great idea to experiment with CTA placement.
