3 Ways to Boost Social Media Leads Today

Your marketing guru has that Facebook page all set up and won’t stop posting on Twitter and LinkedIn… but the leads aren’t coming through. What’s the problem? It’s probably the approach. We’ve noticed 3 things organizations do wrong when it comes to social media lead generation.
Where are your calls to action?
The most effective use of social media for lead generation is actually sharing the links to your content… so don’t just make statements through social media, link them back! Don’t just tell your users you’ve got an awesome new blog: link to it. Got a special offer? Link to the offer landing page when you speak about it. While doing so, use a great call to action. While in conversation, offer advice through useful content back on the site… and make sure that every page has a great call to action to lead visitors through while they’re there. Shared content should be targeted: the best way to do this is to share a landing page. Don’t talk about an upcoming event and link to the homepage, link to the event registration page. Make sure the event you’re sharing is relevant to the users of the platform you’re conversing on.
Fill out every profile you can
If a web user visits a profile on a social media site, they probably want to know more about the organization. So make sure to fill out every opportunity for further self-promotion, by adding links back to relevant pages on the website, contact information on Facebook, use the short bio feature on Twitter to fill in as much useful information as possible. Do this with LinkedIn, Google+ and all your other profiles, too.
Email and social media can be great partners
