The answer is to tap into the growing social media culture. In a recent survey, it was revealed that around 75% of marketers who have been taking advantage of social media have been able to generate more leads and close more deals through social networks. The time spent marketing on these platforms has grown dramatically- by around 50%.
So how can we generate more leads through social media? Check out these tips to get started:
Get onto the platform: if your business doesn’t have any kind of presence on social media, you’re losing the opportunity to connect with an audience.
Social media monitoring: by monitoring your brand across the networks, through product keywords and industry keywords, you’ll be able to filter through all the online noise and reach out to those who are discussing topics in your field.
Social media listening: the revolution in customer care is being driven by social media. In companies driven by corporate needs sometimes we can forget to listen to what the customer want. You’d be surprised by what some customers have to say.
Engagement: social media is about being social, so interact with your audience. Promote out content and promotions, and you’ve got the “media” part covered too.
Give some value back: don’t just broadcast advertisements, provide customers with the information that will benefit them and that they will find useful. This way, they’ll keep coming back for more.
Promotions: social media exclusive promotions are a great way to generate leads. Some companies feel they can’t do this, but it can be so lucrative if you can come up with something, like a discount voucher or a free trial.
Have a regular schedule: social media is an everyday activity, so stay active and post every day if you can, and this will keep your business relevant and ahead of the competition.
